Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Nugent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakamura has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Ryu Nakamura had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nugent throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Ryu Nakamura has been cut.
Nakamura moves out of range as Nugent throws a body kick.
Nugent bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nakamura changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nugent tries to avoid it but Nakamura manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nugent to the ground. Nugent escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nakamura not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
