The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antunes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lei stuffs the takedown.
Antunes has a takedown stuffed.
Wand Lei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rogerio Antunes.

Antunes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Antunes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lei wants to get back to his feet.
Lei knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Antunes on the ground.

Antunes is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lei tries to kick Antunes off but Antunes keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Antunes is working for a kimura but Lei is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lei wants to get back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Lei lands a big head kick that sends Antunes tumbling to the mat! Lei takes a step backwards and waves Antunes back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Rogerio Antunes has been cut.
Antunes looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
An inside leg kick lands from Lei.
Lei throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Lei misses with a head kick.
Lei circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Antunes drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Lei follows Antunes to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
