The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polski throws a body punch but Adams moves out of range.
Polski scores with a decent looking hook.
Polski throws a shot from downtown. Adams moves away and avoids it.
Polski misses with a head kick.

Adams takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Adams takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No joy there for Polski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Polski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Polski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Adams does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Polski uses his free foot to push down on Adams's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Adams.
