Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Hussein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Nacerticus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nacerticus pushes Hussein up against the cage in a clinch.

Nacerticus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Hussein or perhaps it was just good defense by Nacerticus which made him look bad.
Hussein closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nacerticus circles away.
Nacerticus misses with a wild combination.
Hussein closes the distance and clinches up with Nacerticus, looking for a takedown. Hussein pushes Nacerticus against the cage but Nacerticus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ahmed Hussein. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nacerticus darts in and clinches Hussein up against the cage.

Nacerticus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jay Nacerticus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hussein shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hussein takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nacerticus lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Nacerticus darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Hussein is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nacerticus pulls his head out easily.
Hussein is breathing heavily.
Hussein slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Hussein tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Hussein looking for a triangle here. Nacerticus is fighting it but it looks tight! Hussein pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Nacerticus is tapping out - this one is all over!
