The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor gets caught flat footed, as Kakala shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Taylor is trying to hold Kakala in close to prevent damage but Kakala has managed to pass into half guard.

Kakala is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Taylor throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kakala escapes and throws Taylor's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Kakala is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Taylor is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kakala is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Taylor knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
