The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia is trying hard to land a takedown here. Portokalov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Garcia misses with a body kick.

Garcia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Portokalov pinned against the cage. Portokalov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Portokalov throws a right hand that Garcia ducks under and follows up with a left that Garcia also avoids with ease.

Garcia tries to close the distance and clinch up but Portokalov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
