Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Percy Destepolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and reece kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Destepolo comes into the arena with Link blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destepolo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Destepolo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
kahn gets full guard.
kahn trying to keep a closed guard but Destepolo is proving a slippery customer.
kahn throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Destepolo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Destepolo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
kahn throws a wild body kick that Destepolo sees coming a mile off.
Destepolo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Destepolo thumps kahn with a low kick.
kahn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and kahn wants it to stay on the feet.

Destepolo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on kahn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Destepolo shoots for a double leg takedown but kahn sprawls well. He's pushed Destepolo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
kahn should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Destepolo dives in and grabs kahn's left leg, looking for a takedown. kahn pushes down on Destepolo's head and hops out.
Destepolo throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Destepolo keeps the fight on the outside.
Destepolo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has kahn pinned against the cage. kahn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
