The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacquiao tries to clinch but garcia moves out of range.
garcia closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pacquiao circles away.
garcia keeps the fight on the outside.
Pacquiao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but garcia moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pacquiao loads up on a big right hand but garcia slips the punch.

garcia moves into range and clinches up with Pacquiao .
Pacquiao letting garcia take a breather here.
Pacquiao lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of garcia backwards.
Pacquiao tries to break the clinch but garcia is controlling the position.
garcia jumps guard but Pacquiao stands there with garcia around his waist. garcia gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pacquiao jumps guard and drags garcia to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
garcia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
garcia tries to free his leg and advance position but Pacquiao is retaining full guard.

garcia throws a strike but Pacquiao rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Pacquiao wants to stand and escape but instead garcia has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Pacquiao decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on garcia, up you get!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
garcia scores with a sloppy right hand. Pacquiao should have avoided that one.
Pacquiao throws out a loose jab but garcia uses good head movement to avoid it.

garcia shoots in and bounces Pacquiao off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
