Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Party In The U.S.A. . Ed Gein has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gein defends it nicely.
Gein scores with a jab to the head.

Gein lands with a straight right. Gracie didn't see that one coming.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gein swings around for an armbar but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gein's guard.

Gein shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard.

Gein drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gein jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gein has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Gein's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gracie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Gracie stands and throws Gein's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gein is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Gein is trying to control Gracie's posture but Gracie avoids it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gein has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gein has hold of Gracie's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gracie manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Gein has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
