Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thierry Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boats Hoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thierry Henry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boats Hoes!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hoes on the side of the head.
It looks like Boats Hoes has been cut.
Hoes gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Henry tries to clinch up but Hoes circles away and keeps his distance.
Henry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hoes moves away.
Hoes throws a looping overhand right but Henry ducks down to avoid it.
Henry punishes Hoes's body with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Henry slips under a jab.
Hoes throws a head kick that misses.
Henry tries to clinch but Hoes moves out of range.
Hoes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Henry has time to react.
Henry dances in with a quick combination. Hoes is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Henry snaps Hoes's head back. Hoes stumbles backwards against the ropes. Henry steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Hoes's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Hoes just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Thierry Henry!
