Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Starving Child (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and clark McCahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). clark McCahon told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Child ducks under a wild hook from McCahon.
McCahon's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and McCahon duly obliges.

Child is rocked!
McCahon takes a swing at Child's ribcage but misses.
Oh Child is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Child thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on McCahon if he has to take too many more of those.
McCahon throws a series of punches but Child avoids them all with ease.
McCahon misses with a two punch combination.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Child - that will leave a mark!
Child goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Child throws a quick head kick that skims the top of McCahon's head.

McCahon throws a sloppy head kick
and Child counters with a good, hard body kick but McCahon shrugs it off.

McCahon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

McCahon avoids the head kick by Child.
Child seems to have got his legs back now.

Child delivers a nice body kick.
Child throws a front kick that sends McCahon stumbling back into the cage.
McCahon looks gassed!
McCahon tries to bum rush Child with a series of wild strikes but Child uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Child moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Child throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McCahon.
McCahon has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Child.
A head kick from Child lands but McCahon takes it in his stride.

clark McCahon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCahon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McCahon takes a head kick and keeps coming.
McCahon takes a swing at Child's ribcage but misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McCahon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Child - the referee stops the clock and McCahon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Child. McCahon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Child connects with a high kick.
Child lands with a slapping head kick.
Child throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

McCahon is rocked!
Child lands with a kick to the temple. McCahon shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
McCahon is still on wobbly legs! Can Child finish him?
Child keeps McCahon at a distance using the push kick.
McCahon seems to have recovered his senses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Starving Child is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McCahon takes a kick to the side of the head.
The fighters circle, before Child throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into McCahon's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Child lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
