Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Sotomayor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Svenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sotomayor comes into the arena with Enter Sandman - Metallica blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenson misses with a straight left.
Svenson tries to clinch but Sotomayor moves out of range.
Svenson misses with a looping right.
A slow jab from Svenson misses its intended target.
Svenson throws a lazy right hand but Sotomayor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Svenson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Svenson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sotomayor.
Svenson misses with a kick to the body.
Svenson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sotomayor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Svenson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sotomayor thows a body shot but no joy.
Svenson cracks Sotomayor with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Svenson doesn't manage to clinch there - Sotomayor circles away.

Sotomayor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sotomayor just misses with a punch to the body.
Sotomayor ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Sotomayor drops Svenson with a right and a left! Sotomayor comes rushing in but Svenson regains his composure and manages to keep Sotomayor in guard.

It looks like Bjorn Svenson has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sotomayor in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Svenson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sotomayor controls the pace.
Sotomayor wants to control from the top but Svenson keeps moving.
Sotomayor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Svenson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sotomayor throws a jab but it's blocked by Svenson.
Sotomayor slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sotomayor moves away from the strike by Svenson.
Svenson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Svenson misses with a body punch
and Sotomayor counters with a straight right hand.

Svenson is rocked!
Sotomayor lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Svenson - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Sotomayor!
