The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNulty throws a shot from downtown. Morales moves away and avoids it.

McNulty shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Morales has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A frustrated look appears on Morales's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Morales tries to circle away but McNulty has him pinned against the cage.

McNulty has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Morales clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Morales manages to reverse the position and now he's in McNulty's guard. Nice work there by Morales.

McNulty has a closed guard, preventing Morales from standing up.
McNulty looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Morales puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Morales thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McNulty's head.
Morales seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McNulty does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

McNulty tries to close the distance and clinch but Morales swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Morales throws a body punch but McNulty moves out of range.

McNulty dives in and grabs Morales's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morales pushes down on McNulty's head and hops out.

Morales looks to score with a jab to the body but McNulty is just out of range.
