Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between iam getcha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trip Kenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trip Kenzie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
getcha tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

getcha closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kenzie to the mat! Kenzie manages to get full guard.
getcha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kenzie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kenzie is wriggling around but getcha manages to pass to half guard.
Kenzie tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kenzie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
