Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between dic cheddars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilfried Handel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cheddars misses with a head kick.

It looks like dic cheddars has been cut.
Handel throws a right and a left that both miss.
cheddars tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice cross by Handel.

Handel gets caught flat footed, as cheddars shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
cheddars is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
cheddars wants to control from the top but Handel keeps moving.

Handel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. cheddars defends it easily.

Handel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. cheddars is aware though and is defending well.

cheddars gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
cheddars will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Handel lands a with a good body shot.
Handel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. cheddars looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Handel counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends cheddars down! Handel is looking to finish but cheddars is intelligently defending himself.

cheddars will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Handel pushing down on cheddars's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Handel wants to stand but cheddars has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Handel is looking for a kimura but cheddars is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Handel to get the leverage.
Handel tries to pass the half guard into mount. cheddars knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Handel throws a nice looking combination but cheddars bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Oh cheddars is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Handel lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
