Thompson has chosen Kreator - Extreme Aggressions as his entrance music. Julius Prime could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Thompson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Prime has taken the fight to the clinch.

Prime turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Prime manages to end up in side control.
Thompson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Prime asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Thompson pushes Prime away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Prime gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Thompson wants to stand and escape but instead Prime has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Prime shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thompson sprawls well. Thompson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Prime gets slowly back to his feet.

Prime is trying to drag Thompson to the mat but Thompson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Prime tries to get the hooks in deep but Thompson pushed the leg off.
Prime is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Prime gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Prime gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Prime apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Prime, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
