The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Who shoots for a double leg takedown but lollipop sprawls well. He's pushed Who's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Who looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Who is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Who is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But lollipop has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from lollipop!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to strawberry lollipop.
Well lollipop has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
