PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cluk Cloo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cloo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mali Young Masters: Djembe World Drum Music. Song is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Want to be More by Paul Dateh. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cloo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Song.
Song lands with a hook. Cloo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Cloo takes a swing at Song's ribcage but misses.
Song is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Cloo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Cloo closes the distance and clinches.
Cloo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Song's elbow.
Song drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cloo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Cloo has picked Song up - he's going for a ride! Cloo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Song throws a right hand that Cloo ducks under and follows up with a left that Cloo also avoids with ease.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Song moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Song moves forwards but Cloo connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Cloo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Cloo tries to throw a body punch but Song avoids it by throwing Cloo back against the cage.
Cloo manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Cloo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
