Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West tries to land a front kick but Jenkins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jenkins dives in and grabs West's left leg, looking for a takedown. West pushes down on Jenkins's head and hops out.
Jenkins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but West avoids it really well and circles away.
West clinches up with Jenkins and pushes him back against the cage.
West working hard to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
West is trying to break the clinch but Jenkins has him pressed against the cage.
Jenkins is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. West is defending well for now.
West escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jenkins tries to clinch
and West counters with a two punch combo.
West throws a looping overhand right but Jenkins ducks down to avoid it.

West throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jenkins decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jenkins is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jenkins trying to mount his opponent but West defends it.
West wants to get back to his feet.
Jenkins looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Jenkins wants to pass the guard but West is defending well.
Jenkins passes the guard and advances to mount!
Jenkins avoids the attempt from West to control.
Jenkins goes for an armbar but West turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from West.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jenkins is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
West not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dante West dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jenkins with a poor takedown
and West counters with a three punch combo that has Jenkins backing up. Jenkins nods at West to acknowledge the strikes.
West throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jenkins wants to clinch.
Jenkins closes the distance but West moves to the side
and West counters with a big head kick but Jenkins shrugs it off.
West lands with a kick to the temple. Jenkins shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Dante West is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jenkins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. West defends it nicely.
Jenkins looks to clinch
and West counters with a head kick that wobbles Jenkins - left then right he sways and one more bomb from West sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dante West!
