The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Carpio feints and then cracks Shabadoo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shabadoo down.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Shabadoo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Carpio - the referee stops the clock and Shabadoo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Carpio. Shabadoo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shabadoo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joey Shabadoo will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joey Shabadoo.
