The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abu Bakhar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crudele sprawls well. Crudele wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Abu Bakhar gets slowly back to his feet.
Crudele tries to clinch there but Abu Bakhar circles away.
Crudele stuffs the takedown attempt from Abu Bakhar. Abu Bakhar gets slowly back to his feet.
Abu Bakhar gets a takedown into half guard.
Abu Bakhar looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Crudele is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abu Bakhar is trying to work for a kimura but Crudele is defending well.

Abu Bakhar postures up in Crudele's guard and throws a big left but Crudele blocks it.
Crudele is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Abu Bakhar won't allow Crudele to get back to his feet.

Crudele knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Abu Bakhar on the ground.
Crudele pushes Abu Bakhar off and gets back to his feet.
A combination from Abu Bakhar does no damage.
Crudele tries to clinch up but Abu Bakhar circles away and keeps his distance.
Crudele lands a head kick!
It looks like Janjalani Abu Bakhar has been cut.
Crudele moves in looking to clinch but Abu Bakhar pushes him off.

Horrible takedown by Abu Bakhar or perhaps it was just good defense by Crudele which made him look bad.
Antonio Crudele has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janjalani Abu Bakhar.
Crudele gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Abu Bakhar to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Crudele on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Crudele tries to get out of the position.
Crudele wants to get back to his feet but Abu Bakhar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Abu Bakhar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Abu Bakhar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Abu Bakhar stands and throws Crudele's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Crudele parries the strikes from Abu Bakhar easily there. Abu Bakhar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Crudele to escape.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Crudele is looking to clinch but Abu Bakhar is avoiding it.
Crudele throws a head kick but Abu Bakhar moves out of range.
Abu Bakhar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Abu Bakhar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crudele knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Abu Bakhar creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Crudele sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Crudele is trying to get back to his feet.
Abu Bakhar scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Crudele to see if he's OK.
Abu Bakhar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Abu Bakhar looks up at the clock and then as Crudele takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Abu Bakhar smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Abu Bakhar is trying to get an arm triangle but Crudele is defending well.

Abu Bakhar is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Crudele looks calm but he's in trouble here. Abu Bakhar gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Crudele is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Abu Bakhar lets go of the hold and Crudele can pop his arm back in it's socket.
