PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Sterner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Lehtola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sterner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is target=blank>Kung Fu Fighting. Sterner is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Dave Sterner could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Elias Lehtola's chin.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lehtola looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sterner is breathing heavily.

Sterner ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sterner no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sterner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
