Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carter Beauford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obi Konbi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konbi has chosen Underoath-a fault line a fault of mine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Konbi has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konbi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beauford was well out of range. Poor timing from Konbi.

Beauford shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Konbi defends it nicely.

Beauford is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Konbi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
