The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackey shoots for a double leg takedown but Drama sprawls well. He's pushed Mackey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Drama is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mackey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Mackey scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drama looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Mackey decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Drama avoids the head kick by Mackey.
Mackey moves in looking to clinch but Drama pushes him off.
Drama closes the distance and clinches up with Mackey, looking for a takedown. Drama pushes Mackey against the cage but Mackey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Drama fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Vic Mackey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ace Drama.
Drama is looking to clinch but Mackey is avoiding it.
Mackey goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Ace Drama has been cut.
Mackey sizes up Drama with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mackey steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Drama is out on his feet! Mackey sets himself and nearly takes Drama's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
