The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evans looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lloyd!
Evans takes Lloyd's back.
Lloyd trying to get back to his feet but Evans is in full control for now.

Lloyd defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Evans's arms.
Lloyd rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Lloyd is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Evans gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Lloyd thows a left - swing and a miss!
Evans works Lloyd's body with a nice hook.

Lloyd tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Evans avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lloyd gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Evans is working for takedown but Lloyd is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lloyd is trying to break the clinch but Evans is controlling him.

Lloyd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Evans changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lloyd looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lloyd tries to buck Evans off but Evans is having none of it.
Evans trying to control the position but Lloyd is working away.
Evans is breathing heavily.
Lloyd is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Lloyd really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Evans. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Evans is working to tighten is grip on Lloyd's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lloyd has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Evans is really squeezing tight and eventually Lloyd passes out! Evans breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
