Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Gammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gammer comes to the cage accompanied by Roy Jones - Can't be touched . Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gammer's waist but Gammer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.
Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for Gammer on that attempt.
Matt Gammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson swings for the body but Gammer moves out of range.
Gammer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gammer gets slowly back to his feet.

Gammer postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gammer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gammer is breathing heavily.

Gammer has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.

Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Gammer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gammer manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Gammer's guard.

Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gammer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Gammer's legs - danger averted.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gammer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Johnson is pressed up against the cage. Gammer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Johnson down to the mat. Johnson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Johnson feints and as Gammer raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
