Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aquino shoots in and drives through. Mir sprawls well.

Mir forces Aquino back against the cage and clinches.
Mir throws an elbow that misses.
Mir changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Aquino fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mir clinches.

Aquino breaks the clinch.
Noynoy Aquino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mir is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Aquino has managed to free his arm - good work.

Aquino is refusing to be controlled, as Mir sits in half guard.

Mir working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Aquino's thigh. Aquino counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Aquino manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mir is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Aquino postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Mir in real trouble here! The ref calls for Mir to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
