Spiller has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. David Spiller could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gaius Marius 's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marius throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Spiller was covering up waiting for the punch and Marius finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Spiller is breathing heavily.
Marius lands a couple of elbows.
Spiller keeping moving, preventing Marius from controlling successfully.
Marius makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marius lands a couple of digs.
Marius trying to control the position from guard on top but Spiller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Marius connects with a couple of short punches.
