Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michal Wolak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Deiter Myers!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers throws a head kick but Wolak moves out of range.
Wolak moves in looking to clinch but Myers pushes him off.
A combination from Myers does no damage.
Myers tries to clinch up.
Myers closes the distance and clinches.
Wolak lands an elbow that stopped Myers in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Deiter Myers has been cut.
Myers pushes Wolak back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wolak misses with an elbow over the top.
Myers tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Myers is trying to drag Wolak to the mat but Wolak just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Wolak creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Wolak misses with an elbow over the top.
Myers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Myers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wolak tries to clinch but Myers moves out of range.
Wolak clinches but Myers breaks the clinch
and Myers moves into the clinch.
Wolak lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Myers blocks an elbow strike.
Nice elbow from Wolak.
Wolak misses with an elbow over the top.
Myers working hard to break the clinch.
Wolak creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Myers's defenses.
That has opened up Deiter Myers's cut even more.
Wolak throws an elbow that misses.
Wolak lands a nice elbow.
The cut above Deiter Myers's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Myers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wolak is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Michal Wolak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Deiter Myers.
Myers blocks the elbow strike.
Wolak pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Wolak creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Wolak pushes off an throws an elbow but Myers leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Myers is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wolak gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Wolak looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Myers dodges an elbow strike from Wolak.
Myers avoids the elbow strike from Wolak, against the cage.
Myers blocks an elbow strike.
Wolak lands an elbow just above Myers 's eye.
Deiter Myers's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Deiter Myers's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Michal Wolak!
