Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cross Lavi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroki Nakajima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiroki Nakajima has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cross Lavi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroki Nakajima!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lavi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Nakajima keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lavi is thwarting Nakajima's attempts to control the position.
Nakajima is trying to get back to full guard.
Lavi wants to stand but Nakajima has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Lavi trying to control the action but Nakajima is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nakajima slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Lavi is stalling in the full guard.
Nakajima manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Nakajima wants to get back to his feet but Lavi is holding on tight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lavi tries to hold on but Nakajima postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nakajima gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Nakajima jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nakajima cracks the inside of Lavi's front leg.
Nakajima looks to land a body kick but Lavi moved away.
Nakajima feints and then cracks Lavi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lavi down.
Nakajima throws a head kick but Lavi moves out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lavi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nakajima - the referee stops the clock and Lavi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nakajima. Lavi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Lavi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nakajima was covering up waiting for the punch and Lavi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lavi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Lavi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lavi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lavi has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

That was a close round but I would say that Cross Lavi will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Lavi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nakajima avoids it really well and circles away.
Lavi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nakajima tries to avoid it but Lavi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nakajima to the ground. Nakajima escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lavi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nakajima.
Nakajima throws a nice outside leg kick.
Nakajima looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nakajima misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nakajima throws a leg kick which misses Lavi's front leg but catches the back leg as Lavi tries to avoid it.
Nakajima lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nakajima turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lavi sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Nakajima feints and then cracks Lavi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lavi down.
Nakajima feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lavi's calf.
Nakajima throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A slapping leg kick lands for Nakajima.
Nakajima thumps Lavi with a low kick.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nakajima.
Cross Lavi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nakajima throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lavi's head.

Nakajima lands with a kick to the ribs.
Nakajima connects with a solid leg kick.
Lavi takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Nakajima throws a leg kick which misses Lavi's front leg but catches the back leg as Lavi tries to avoid it.
Nakajima lunges at Lavi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lavi's hand.
Lavi takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Nakajima drops Lavi with a beautiful combination! Lavi stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nakajima is looking for the KO!

Lavi is rocked!
Nakajima feints a jab and as Lavi dips his head, Nakajima unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Lavi right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Lavi falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Nakajima smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
