The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

rolfson pushes Parker up against the cage in a clinch.
Parker is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. rolfson is defending well for now.

With the fighters up against the cage, rolfson throws an elbow but misses.
Parker is working for takedown but rolfson is calmly controlling the position for now.

Parker got a little sloppy there for a moment and rolfson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Parker has managed to get both his arms back between rolfson's legs - danger averted.

rolfson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Parker's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Parker's back!

Parker is trying to get back to his feet but rolfson has full control of the position and if anything, Parker has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Parker decides to stand up, so the ref orders rolfson to his feet.

Parker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and rolfson counters with a takedown into side control.
Parker wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
rolfson trying to control the position but Parker is working away.
Parker tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

rolfson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
You get the feeling that Parker really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Parker shoots for a double leg takedown but rolfson sprawls well. He's pushed Parker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but rolf rolfson will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Parker seems to be looking for submissions.

Parker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

rolfson is positioning himself well to prevent Parker advancing to mount.
Parker is just content to waste time from the top position. rolfson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
rolfson has his hands on Parker's head, controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Parker tries to free his leg and advance position but rolfson is retaining full guard.
rolfson is controlling Parker's posture.

Parker drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and rolfson dives on top into guard.
rolfson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

rolfson wants to pass the guard but Parker is keeping the position.

rolfson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
rolfson passes Parker's left leg - he's now in half guard.
rolfson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alistar Parker.
