Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Hellmuth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Machida might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to For Whom The Bell Tolls. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida walks into a left hand.
Machida tries a head kick but it misses.
Hellmuth with a jab.
Machida takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hellmuth stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Machida fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Machida misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hellmuth fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hellmuth takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Hellmuth doesn't manage to clinch there - Machida circles away.
Hellmuth fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Machida manages to avoid it.

Hellmuth drops Machida onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Machida is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hellmuth lands with a nice body punch.
Hellmuth rushes Machida with punches - Machida moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Machida goes down! Hellmuth follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
