The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a head kick but Hoppus moves out of range.
Jackson throws a leg kick but Hoppus checks it.
Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson stuffs the takedown attempt from Hoppus. Hoppus gets slowly back to his feet.
Jackson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hoppus throws a one two combo.
Hoppus cracks Jackson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hoppus has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jackson to stand back up!
Jackson is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hoppus throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Jackson stumbling backwards into the cage! Jackson bounces back off the cage towards Hoppus, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Hoppus lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hoppus celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mark Hoppus!
