Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henk De Vries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamapi Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Vries's entrance music is EXODUS - Throwing Down. A fine choice. Chan has chosen Daite Senorita as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Vries connects with a high kick.
Chan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. De Vries defends it nicely.

De Vries is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
De Vries sizes up Chan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

De Vries lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chan is looking to clinch but De Vries is avoiding it.

De Vries lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chan circles away quickly and effectively.
