Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brim Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brim Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shulk Hogan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone has Hogan up against the cage in a clinch.
Stone tries a knee to the head but Hogan blocks it.
Stone using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hogan has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Stone with a knee to the head.
Hogan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Hogan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stone just stands there and leans against the cage.
Stone trying to land knees to the body.
With the fighters up against the cage, Stone throws an elbow but misses.
Stone scores with a knee to the head.
Hogan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stone fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Stone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stone is looking to clinch but Hogan is avoiding it.
Stone keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brim Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shulk Hogan.
Stone tries to clinch there but Hogan circles away.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hogan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hogan.
Stone is looking to clinch but Hogan is avoiding it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hogan shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Hogan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hogan drives through with a takedown into guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hogan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stone is keeping the position for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stone looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Stone is trying to control the position but Hogan postures up.
Hogan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hogan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Stone tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Stone wants to stand and escape but Hogan is having none of it.
Stone is breathing heavily.
Stone keeping moving, preventing Hogan from controlling successfully.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Hogan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stone tries to avoid it but Hogan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stone to the ground. Stone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hogan keeps the fight on the outside.
Stone tries to clinch there but Hogan circles away.
Stone stuffs the takedown attempt from Hogan. Hogan gets slowly back to his feet.

Stone gets a clinch.
Hogan tries to break the clinch but Stone is controlling the position.
Stone tries to land a knee to the head but Hogan blocks with his arms.
Hogan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Hogan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Stone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hogan is trying to hold Stone in close to prevent damage but Stone has managed to pass into half guard.
Stone sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hogan defending well though.
Stone blocks the strikes from Hogan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hogan is looking to improve his position.
Hogan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hogan.
Stone trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hogan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hogan is on top in guard.

Stone has his foot on Hogan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hogan works his way back into a safe position though.
Hogan stops Stone from standing up.
Hogan trying to control but Stone is working from the bottom.
Stone wants to get back to his feet but Hogan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Stone is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stone trying to keep a closed guard but Hogan is proving a slippery customer.
Hogan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stone is looking to stand up but Hogan isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Stone rushes Hogan and presses him up against the cage.
Stone looking to throw knees to the head but Hogan is blocking nicely.
Stone landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Stone tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Stone landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Stone with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Hogan takes a knee right on the jaw!
Hogan tries to pull guard but Stone holds him up against the cage and eventually Hogan drops back down to his feet.

Hogan is trying to maintain a safe position but Stone gets an underhook and turns Hogan into the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hogan.

Hogan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Stone misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hogan.
Hogan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stone just stands there and leans against the cage.

Stone crunches a lovely knee into Hogan's ribcage.

Hogan jumps into guard, dragging Stone to the mat.
Stone won't allow Hogan to sweep him here.
Stone wants to pass the guard but Hogan is keeping the position.

Hogan controls Stone momentarily but Stone frees himself.
Hogan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stone!
Stone wants to control but Hogan is having none of it.
Stone tries to reverse the position but Hogan maintains control.
Hogan landing strikes from the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Brim Stone will probably get the nod.
That's time! Stone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Hogan swats away the attempt to clinch by Stone.

Stone closes the distance and clinches.
Stone tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Hogan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stone uses from the top position.
Hogan wants to sweep but no luck.

Stone is posturing up here but Hogan has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Stone tries to roll out but it's too tight and Stone has to tap! Slick submission there by Hogan!
