PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradon Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bradon Fitch!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Moore showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fitch.

Fitch gets a takedown into half guard.

Fitch seems to be working for a kimura but Moore defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore is trying to maintain the position but Fitch is very close to passing his half guard.

Moore has one foot on Fitch's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Moore misses with a takedown
and Fitch counters with a nice low kick that buckles Moore's knee momentarily.
Moore buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Moore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Moore takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Moore shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Moore has hold of Fitch's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fitch manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fitch is trying desperately to improve position.
Moore tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Moore can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fitch is looking to escape.
Moore is breathing heavily.
Fitch regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fitch manages to get to full guard.

Fitch throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Fitch keeping busy on the bottom but Moore has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fitch makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fitch.

Fitch working for a triangle but Moore defends it easily.
Fitch keeping moving, preventing Moore from controlling successfully.

Moore is posturing up here but Fitch has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Moore tries to roll out but it's too tight and Moore has to tap! Slick submission there by Fitch!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bradon Fitch!
