Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Timmons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Louie Cane!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane swinging wildly here.
Cane missing with a left hand there. Timmons was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Timmons stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Timmons moves away from the strike by Cane.
Cane throws an overhand right that lands on Timmons's shoulder, as Timmons tries to avoid the shot.
Cane dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cane throws out a powerful jab.
Cane throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Cane bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Timmons's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cane digs a good hook to Timmons's body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cane connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Timmons displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cane throws out the jab.
Cane getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Timmons ducks under a wild hook from Cane.
Cane connects with a good right hand that stumbles Timmons. Timmons circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


It looks like Trent Timmons has been cut.
No joy there for Cane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cane throws a series of strikes that have Timmons backpedaling.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cane fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cane scores with a jab to the head.
A nice combination there by Cane.
Cane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Timmons has time to react.
Timmons misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cane lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Cane with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Timmons is breathing heavily.
Timmons looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Cane misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cane misses with a double jab.
Cane lands a jab-cross combination.
Timmons shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cane pinned against the cage. Cane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Timmons shoots for a double leg takedown but Cane sprawls well. He's pushed Timmons's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trent Timmons. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut there from Cane.
Jab, jab by Cane - just one landing.


Trent Timmons's cut is getting worse.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Timmons shoots in for a takedown but Cane shows good takedown defense.
Timmons fails with a takedown attempt.
Cane is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Louie Cane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Timmons takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cane connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Cane drops Timmons with a beautiful combination! Timmons stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cane is looking for the KO!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Louie Cane dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Trent Timmons's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


A combination from Cane does no damage.
Cane throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Cane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cane lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cane lands a head shot.
Cane dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Timmons looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Cane moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jab, jab by Cane - just one landing.
Louie Cane seems to be getting the better of the standup.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cane stuffs the takedown.
Cane scores with a one two! Timmons had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Timmons. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Timmons shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cane as he avoids it easily.

Cane lands a left and a right that send Timmons crashing to the mat, dazed. Cane thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Timmons is rocked!


Trent Timmons's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Timmons slips a jab and a cross from Cane.
Cane catches Timmons with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cane lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Timmons falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Louie Cane!
