Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Dor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vaughn's entrance music is Wild Thing. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dor takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Vaughn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Theo Dor has been cut.
Vaughn lands a right hook to the body.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vaughn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vaughn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rick Vaughn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dor takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Vaughn throws a series of punches but Dor avoids them all with ease.
Vaughn thuds his right hand into Dor's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Vaughn dodges the punch combination from Dor.
Dor avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Vaughn.
Vaughn lunges at Dor with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dor's hand.

Dor takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Vaughn lands a right hook to the body.
Vaughn misses with a straight left.
Rick Vaughn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Vaughn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dor looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Vaughn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Vaughn is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Dor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Vaughn wants to stand but Dor has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Dor is looking to improve his position.

It looks like Vaughn is going to stand back up.
Dor tries to get to full guard but Vaughn has control of the leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vaughn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vaughn scores with a three punch combo!
Dor throws a lazy right hand but Vaughn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vaughn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Vaughn cracks a nice hook into Dor's ribs.
Dor misses with a jab, cross combination.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vaughn throws a one two combo.
Dor misses with a hook. Vaughn ducked under it nicely.
Vaughn staying out of range there.

Dor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vaughn has time to react.

Vaughn lands a nice hook to Dor's body. Dor takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vaughn scores with a decent looking hook.
Dor walks into a left hand.

That has opened up Theo Dor's cut even more.
Theo Dor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dor is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
