The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lorenz wants to stand but Johnson is controlling the position.

Lorenz scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lorenz tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lorenz to the ground. Lorenz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Lorenz tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lorenz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lorenz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johnson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johnson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
