The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore just misses with a punch to the body.
Carbone blocks a jab.
Carbone thuds his shin into the meat of Moore's side.
Moore misses with a few strikes there.
Moore throws a hook but Carbone blocks it.
Moore scores with a nice right hand.
Moore connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Carbone scores with a shot to the body.
Richard Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moore throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carbone avoids the body shot from Moore.
Moore looks to score with a jab to the body but Carbone is just out of range.
Carbone fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Moore.
Carbone throws a leg kick which misses Moore's front leg but catches the back leg as Moore tries to avoid it.

Carbone turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Carbone moves in looking to clinch but Moore pushes him off.
Carbone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Moore.

Moore throws a lazy right hand but Carbone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Moore is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carbone sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Carbone takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Carbone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Moore swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Moore lands a nice hook to Carbone's body. Carbone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Moore, as that shot connected.

Carbone keeps control of Moore as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Carbone has Moore pressed against the ropes, preventing Moore from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Carbone's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Moore has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Carbone keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Moore's efforts to push away.
Moore drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Richard Moore.
