Genderson lands a two punch combo.
Genderson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Genderson throws a right and a left that piredda avoids nicely.
piredda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
piredda shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Genderson sprawls well. Genderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. piredda gets slowly back to his feet.
Dan Genderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Genderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by piredda.
Genderson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but piredda moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
piredda shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Genderson defends it nicely.

piredda darts in and clinches Genderson up against the cage.
