The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Brutalis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Marquiss throws a leg kick which misses Brutalis's front leg but catches the back leg as Brutalis tries to avoid it.
Brutalis looks to land a combination but Marquiss avoids it well.
Marquiss connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brutalis. Brutalis circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Brutalis misses with a body kick.
Brutalis tries a head kick but it misses.
Marquiss throws a right and a left that Brutalis avoids nicely.
Brutalis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Marquiss buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Marquiss will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marquiss stalks Brutalis and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brutalis's face. Brutalis staggers backwards, shaken.
