Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Akio Hideaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton has chosen Voices by Rev Theory as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orton slips a straight right by Hideaki.
Orton throws a lazy right hand but Hideaki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hideaki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hideaki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Orton sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hideaki takes a swing at Orton's ribcage but misses.

Hideaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hideaki wants to take a breather but Orton is having none of it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Hideaki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Orton is just riding it out for now. Hideaki eventually gives up the hold.
Hideaki is trying to control. Orton wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hideaki is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Orton is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Orton is trying to control but can't.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hideaki closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hideaki lands in his opponent's guard.

Orton is desperately trying to improve his position but Hideaki has a good base and remains in mount.

Hideaki goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Orton turns into him and now he's in Hideaki's guard.

Orton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Orton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Orton is sitting in close to Hideaki's body. Hideaki has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Orton is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Orton is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hideaki.
