The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ewing looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones really is a fat lump.
Ewing is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ewing misses with a wild combination.
Ewing connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ewing drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.
Jones is working for takedown but Ewing is calmly controlling the position for now.
Jones gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ewing.
Ewing changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jones fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bobby Ewing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ewing is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Jones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Jones prevents Ewing from improving his position.
Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ewing is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.
Ewing is pressing down on Jones's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jones drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ewing looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ewing looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ewing!
Ewing in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Ewing lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Jones takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Jones is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ewing cracks Jones with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Ewing immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Jones is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Ewing!
