Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Lebowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robot Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lebowski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Europe - The Final Countdown. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Lebowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robot Joe!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lebowski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Joe moves away.
Lebowski lands with a shot to the body.
Lebowski scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Joe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lebowski is trying to defend but Joe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Lebowski is defending against the submission attempts here by Joe.
Joe wants to control but Lebowski is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Joe is just content to waste time from the top position. Lebowski takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Lebowski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lebowski tries to get out of the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lebowski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Joe lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lebowski!

Joe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lebowski is looking to escape.
Lebowski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Joe on the ground.

Joe is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lebowski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lebowski shrugs it off.

Joe goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Lebowski turns into him and now he's in Joe's guard.

Lebowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lebowski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Joe not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Despite being in the dominant position, Robot Joe just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nice uppercut there from Lebowski.

Lebowski looks to land a right hand but Joe moved out of range.

Joe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Joe thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Lebowski wants to improve his position but Joe is controlling well.
Joe is stalling here. Lebowski is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Joe seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lebowski has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Joe is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Joe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Joe wants to control but Lebowski is having none of it.

Joe manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Lebowski wants to free his trapped foot but Joe is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Joe won't allow Lebowski to pass to mount.
Lebowski tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Joe.
Joe is trying to maintain the position but Lebowski is very close to passing his half guard.
Lebowski looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Joe wants to get back to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Joe keeping hold of Lebowski's head, controlling as best he can.

Robot Joe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Lebowski uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Joe has time to react.
Joe looks for a takedown but Lebowski sprawls well.
Lebowski throws a big shot that misses.
Lebowski throws a shot from downtown. Joe moves away and avoids it.
Joe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lebowski throws out the jab.
Lebowski misses the shot to the body.
Nice defenses there by Joe.

Joe shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Joe was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Joe is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lebowski is surviving well by controlling Joe's body position as best he can.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lebowski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Joe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lebowski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jeff Lebowski.
I think Lebowski has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
