Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Cash Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenson Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins has chosen Don't Fear The Reaper as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jackson Cash Jr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Cash Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jenson Hawkins!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Hawkins sprawls well. He's pushed Cash Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hawkins loads up on a big right hand but Cash Jr slips the punch.
Cash Jr takes one to the chin there.
Hawkins moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.


Cash Jr is rocked!
Cash Jr tries for a takedown but Hawkins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hawkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cash Jr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hawkins steps into range and cracks Cash Jr with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Cash Jr flops backwards and Hawkins dives into his guard looking to finish!
Oh Cash Jr is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cash Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hawkins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hawkins pushes down on Cash Jr's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Cash Jr seems to have got his legs back now.
Cash Jr tries to roll over but Hawkins keeps him under control.

Hawkins is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Hawkins is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cash Jr is just riding it out for now. Hawkins eventually gives up the hold.

Hawkins is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hawkins decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Hawkins cracks Cash Jr with a good jab.
Cash Jr walks into a left hand.
Hawkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hawkins wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Cash Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hawkins connects with the punch.
Cash Jr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hawkins.
Jenson Hawkins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cash Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hawkins scores with a body shot.
Cash Jr is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Some wild striking there from Cash Jr.
Cash Jr takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hawkins uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hawkins lands with an overhand left.

Hawkins drops his shoulder and cracks Cash Jr with a huge uppercut! Cash Jr goes down! Can Hawkins finish him?

Hawkins is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hawkins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hawkins passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cash Jr trying to hold on to Hawkins's head to control him but Hawkins postures up.

Hawkins seems to be looking for submissions.

Cash Jr is defending against the submission attempts here by Hawkins.
Hawkins works his way into full mount!

Hawkins looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cash Jr really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Hawkins is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cash Jr to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cash Jr shrugs it off.
Cash Jr is looking to improve his position but Hawkins isn't that keen on the idea.
Cash Jr on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cash Jr tries to get out of the position.
Cash Jr is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hawkins looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Cash Jr is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hawkins working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Hawkins stands up from mount. Strange move.
Cash Jr slips a jab from Hawkins.
Hawkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Cash Jr is just out of range.
Hawkins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cash Jr is defended easily by Hawkins.
Cash Jr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hawkins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hawkins lunges at Cash Jr with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cash Jr's hand.
Cash Jr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hawkins's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hawkins duly obliges.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jenson Hawkins dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Hawkins wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
No joy there for Hawkins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice uppercut there from Hawkins.
Hawkins fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cash Jr on the side of the head.
Hawkins thuds a left hand into Cash Jr's body.
Cash Jr takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hawkins cracks Cash Jr with an open hand slap.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hawkins lands a really nice looking cross but Cash Jr seems unphased.
Hawkins lands a brutal uppercut that launches Cash Jr off his feet! Cash Jr tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jenson Hawkins!
