Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ruffus Raucus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tule Kanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Kanaka feints and as Raucus raises his hands in defense, Kanaka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kanaka bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Raucus's head backwards.

Kanaka doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

It looks like Tule Kanaka has been cut.
Kanaka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Raucus's waist but Raucus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kanaka off to one side.
Ruffus Raucus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tule Kanaka.

Kanaka has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Raucus is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Raucus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Raucus has his foot on Kanaka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kanaka works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ruffus Raucus.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Raucus, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
