The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConomy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
McConomy doesn't manage to clinch there - Breaston circles away.
McConomy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Breaston shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McConomy sprawls well. McConomy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Breaston gets slowly back to his feet.
Breaston shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McConomy as he jumps to the side.

McConomy throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Breaston stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. McConomy follows into mount!

It looks like Hav Breaston has been cut.

McConomy goes for an armbar but Breaston turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Breaston.

Breaston has gone for a leg lock! McConomy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Breaston's guard.

McConomy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Breaston throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McConomy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Breaston is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Breaston has escaped and now he's on top!

McConomy has his feet on Breaston's thighs here. He's pushed Breaston off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Breaston screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
