Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denis Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbs has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. Danny Gibbs is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kang rushes Gibbs and presses him up against the cage.
Kang is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Kang using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gibbs has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Gibbs tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kang lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Danny Gibbs has been cut.
Gibbs stalling in the clinch but Kang improves position.
Kang comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Kang gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kang prevents the takedown attempt.

Gibbs tries to pull guard but Kang won't allow it.
Kang's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Kang lands an elbow just above Gibbs 's eye.
Kang is pushing Gibbs up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Gibbs managing to block the knees to the body from Kang.

Gibbs jumps guard and drags Kang to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Gibbs is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kang throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gibbs's body to avoid the submission. Gibbs has instead reached around Kang's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gibbs arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
