Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joni Silvennoinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stan Guyer!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guyer tries to bum rush Silvennoinen with a series of wild strikes but Silvennoinen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Guyer is looking to clinch but Silvennoinen is avoiding it.
Guyer throws a combination. Silvennoinen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Joni Silvennoinen has been cut.
Silvennoinen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Silvennoinen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Guyer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Guyer scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Guyer lands a with a good body shot.
Silvennoinen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silvennoinen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Guyer.
Guyer drops Silvennoinen with a left right combo! Guyer follows him down to the ground into side control.


Silvennoinen is rocked!
Silvennoinen being controlled for a moment.
Oh Silvennoinen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silvennoinen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Guyer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silvennoinen seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Guyer tries to stand but Silvennoinen is controlling his head.
Guyer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silvennoinen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silvennoinen wants to control but Guyer postures up.
Guyer controls the position from side control.
Silvennoinen wants to control but Guyer postures up.
Silvennoinen tries to bench press Guyer off him but Guyer keeps the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Guyer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Some bone on bone action there as Guyer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Silvennoinen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Guyer lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Silvennoinen can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Guyer and Silvennoinen drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Guyer.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stan Guyer!
